Then, just straddle her and use two hands!!
What a "Mama" she will be!

And - if you can't get her to take her bottle...

After you take your Dolly for a ride it's time for her to eat!
Sadie loves to ride in her little red wagon. She likes to take her dolls along with her!

I just couldn't resist this Quack Quack film of Sadie - She loves Quack Quacks
Today Hayden went with Grandma and Grandpa to the hangar at Montgomery Field to learn about airplanes!! He even got to 'taxi' with them in the Breezy down the taxiway and back to the hangar!
Hayden started with the Bonanza, learning how to step on the 'black' finish only on the wing to get in. He really wanted to walk on those wings!
Here Hayden is getting his first lesson on how to move the ailerons by turning the yoke and watching the cables move. A good place to learn and see as there is NO COCKPIT!

Breezy

Tom just put new oar locks on the old row boat. We will take it to the cabin for the 4th of July.
Grandpa must really love Hayden - he let him sit in his biplane and play with all the controls!! Tom will have to do his flight check list twice next time he flies this plane.

The view from inside the green fence.
Here is the site of the house from the cul de sac, Noren Place. Nothing much to see yet except the temporary power pole.

The light pattern on the left is the big border outside the fence section.

Rail Fence Quilt

Do I dare try a real 'cabin' quilt?
Here are the six patterns that will form the fence. The red will be the backing and the binding.

Funeral Cheescake

I went to a funeral tuesday and took a cheesecake. It is always so hard to take a round one and keep it on a cake stand and the frig at church doesn't hold much. So I decided to try it in a glass serving dish, it worked well, the nibble in the corner is mine! It was frosted with whipped cream and fresh raspberries before serving - they ate every bite!

Recipe: Gordon Rose Cheesecake
2 8oz pkg cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups sour cream

Put is all in your food processor and blend. Use any crust and bake it for 10 minutes at 350. pour in your mixture, I added a cup of fresh raspberries mixed in by hand. Set the dish in a larger pan and fill an inch with water. Bake 350 for one hour, turn off the oven and leave it in for another hour. Then let it sit to room temp. and then refrigerate overnight.

Our 40th Anniversary Cruise fall of '07- This is Olympia, where the games were held. Tom, the runner, checked it out.
This is Mercede, Sadie, on Sunday! She had on her Church Dress and was doing her garden thing. As she comes down the path she must touch and say 'hello' to every light post and animal hiding in the garden. Raccoon,Grasshopper,Bunny,Lamb,Duck, Goose are most of her friends!

New House-New Blog

OK! I decided to start a blog. It's too frustrating sending pictures and movies so this will be a great way for you to see the progression of THE HOUSE.
Tomorrow the foundation man will be there - lets hope he pours!
